TreeFishEDU was established in 2019 with the goal of creating high quality professional development for educators that is relevant, accessible, and meaningful. Co-founded by Eric Guise, Kyle Niemis, and Nick Johnson, TreeFishEDU believes that student-centered teaching practices and technology have the power to change education as we know it. The logo and company name are inspired by the following quote that is often attributed to Albert Einstein, “Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by it’s ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.”
